--- Begin Message ---I see there are two options here: a) Waiting for dpkg to implement a way to fix this properly. b) Fix this improperly. I fear that fixing it improperly could be worse than doing nothing, so this is really a wontfix bug. As I have never been a fan of this wontfix thing, I'm closing it. If you feel this bug should be kept alive, then please reopen, reassign to dpkg and retitle it. Thanks.
