Dear Maintainer,

I cannot install gnome-desktop-environment

After runningi
# apt-get install gnome-desktop-environment

I get

Reading package lists... Done

Some packages could not be installed. This may mean that you have
requested an impossible situation or if you are using the unstable
distribution that some required packages have not yet been created
or been moved out of Incoming.
The following information may help to resolve the situation:

The following packages have unmet dependencies:
gnome-desktop-environment : Depends: gnome (>= 1:3.8+2) but it is not going to
be installed
E: Unable to correct problems, you have held broken packages.

dpkg --get-selections | grep held

does not return anything.
This is also done on a fresh install (without desk-top)

My sources.list file is:

deb http://ftp.uk.debian.org/debian/ sid main non-free contrib
deb-src http://ftp.uk.debian.org/debian/ sid main non-free contrib

#apt-get install gnome-shell
returns:
