Hi,
quilt obviously relies on grep internally. I have GREP_OPTIONS="--color -H -n
-T" exported in my ~/.bashrc, which causes grep to prefix matches with file
name and line number *everytime*. However, this seems to confuse quilt and
leads to error messages like this:
$ quilt pop
Removing patch cap_soundcommand.patch
Restoring src/m_misc.c
Prefix must be a directory
Now at patch .pc/applied-patches:
$ quilt pop
/usr/share/quilt/pop: line 233: [: too many arguments
Patch:snd_soundfont.patch appears to be empty, removing
rmdir: failed to remove `.pc/\b:snd_soundfont.patch': No such file or directory
As a cure for this, please add
export GREP_OPTIONS=""
somewhere near the beginning of /usr/bin/quilt.
