Package: general
Severity: important
I tried to install one of the octave plugins which required the dx package.
Unfortunately dx failed to install. Synaptic returned the following error: ''E:
/var/cache/apt/archives/dx_1%3a4.4.4-2+b3_i386.deb: broken tar archive - broken
package archive'' (thats my translation from polish, so it might be slightly
different really). I suppose the maintainer of dx should have a look into it.

I am closing this bug because I believe the original reported issue was
the result from a faulty download.
I just tried to install the exact same package from snapshot.debian.org
and that succeeded (well, it failed, but later and for other reasons).
Anyway, all the rebuilds since that version should have fixed the issue
anyways.
