Severity: normal
Dear Maintainer,
*** Please consider answering these questions, where appropriate ***
I use empathy to connect to my employer's internal sametime chat
system. Recently this stopped working; now attempting to reconnect to
the sametime account results in an almost instant "Authentication
failed" error message.
Using strace, it appears that when empathy requests mission-control to
open the sametime account, mission-control reports: "A server is
required to connect this account" (it would be nice if empathy
reported this more detailed error message to the user.
Checking the account settings for the sametime account, I discovered
that the dialog now contains no setting for the sametime server at all
(!!). Could this explain the failure to connect?

This should be fixed in 0.7.1-1 - I don't have access to a Sametime server,
but the reporter of <https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=44631>
said my patch worked.
