redoing my configuration (background image; # of desktops; &c.) from
scratch and then attempting to save the changes results often in a
reproducible error -- the default 'debian' theme (red active window
bar, grey inactive, &c.) changes colors and fonts to black-and-white
with the ugliest fixed-width font i've ever seen, and a black
background (no image). this is easily fixable by reselecting the
'debian' theme in the menu, or by restarting wmaker, but reoccurs
every time i add more desktops and then un-select the "automatically
create new" option, for example.
