Package: nginx
Version: 1.2.6-1
Severity: normal
Dear Maintainer,
Upgrading the nginx installation to 1.2.6-1 led to incapability to start as the
IPv6-equivalent to port 80 was reported to be taken. While the source of this
particular issue is reported in other bugs, the issue concerning this report is
that the upgrade enabled sites-available/default in a perfectly fine setup with
plenty of entries in sites-enabled and in conjunction with the IPv6 issues
reported for sites-available/default break an otherwise working system.
Removing the symlink accordingly fixes the situation.
nginx should not auto-enable sites-enabled/default (unless there's no other
site present there, maybe).
Thank you for your time working on debian.
Joh
