The environment itself is aimed at a dead platform (iPAQ) and is unsuitable for use on current devices like phones or tablets without widescale modification. I've no interest in maintaining it any longer but rather than simply orphan ~60 packages, I've decided to seek removal on the basis that the orphaned environment would be unmaintainable in the long term. There is zero prospect of GPE ever being ported to GTK3. Please continue the removal of GPE by removing gpe-announce, gpe-su, gpe-soundserver, gpe-todo, gpe-what and gsoko from unstable.
