Within nedit, if I select text and go to Edit->Copy, the message:
$ nedit
Attempt to copy to unlocked clipboard!
is printed to the terminal. Apparently this message comes from CutPaste.c in
lesstif. Incidentally, the text actually does get put on the X clipboard (from
the selection I imagine), but not the nedit clipboard.
