However, more recent versions are shipped in Debian, and the package hopefully doesn't really depend on that fixed version. But this is problematic once we try to run auto-tests in other packages. For instance, trying to pass the auto tests of RDFLib 4.0.1, which marks a dependency on SPARQLWrapper, we get : pkg_resources.VersionConflict: (simplejson 2.6.2 (/usr/lib/python2.7/dist-packages), Requirement.parse('simplejson==2.0.9')) I'm not sure why there's such a fixed dependency, but I suggest this could be removed, and of course, this may be gotten rid of, once the package is upgraded to latest upstream version.
