Package: systemd
Severity: important
Dear Maintainer,
systemd requires libaudit0 which is unavailable in sid.
This makes systemd not installable, thus gdm3 not installable and
finally gnome-shell not installable.

No. systemd from sid is linked against libaudit1, see
http://packages.debian.org/sid/systemd
Also:
apt-cache show systemd | grep '^Depends:'
Depends: libacl1 (>= 2.2.51-8), libaudit1 (>= 1:2.2.1), libc6 (>= 2.17),
libcap2 (>= 2.10), libcryptsetup4 (>= 2:1.4.3), libdbus-1-3 (>= 1.1.1),
libgcrypt11 (>= 1.5.1), libkmod2 (>= 5~), liblzma5 (>=
5.1.1alpha+20120614), libpam0g (>= 0.99.7.1), libselinux1 (>= 2.1.9),
libsystemd-daemon0 (= 204-5), libsystemd-journal0 (= 204-5), libudev1 (=
204-5), libwrap0 (>= 7.6-4~), libsystemd-login0 (= 204-5), util-linux
(>= 2.19.1-2), initscripts (>= 2.88dsf-17), udev
I think this is a problem on your side :).
