Package: pcmanfm
Version: 0.9.10-2
Severity: normal
If I copy a folder with a link in it, the link will become a normal
directory
and everything, the link linked to, will also be copied.
This is in particular very bad if the link links to a parent directory.
Try this to reproduce the bug:
$ mkdir test
$ cd test
$ ln -s . link
Now copy the test directory somewhere else. You should get a new test
directory
with a directory link in it. There is a directory link in it and there
again...
It copied my kernel sources of 1 GB to a new directory of 60GB until I
stopped
it. It took over an hour to delete it afterwards.
I think in general copy of pcmanfm should do the same as the normal copy
command cp?
