I have two portable computers with Swedish keyboard layout. One is a
Samsung netbook. The other one is an Acer laptop.
Although installed from the same DVD-image and in the same way, the
netbook always prints dead keys immediately. The other one behaves as it
should. They are both installed within the same week. Before
reinstallation of the netbook, the keyboard also misbehaved. This worked
correctly in Debian 6.
Both computers have the same configuration when it comes to the
keyboard, but it seems as the netbook computer doesn't apply them correctly.

Hmmm.. Which release are you talking. 7.3? Please use reportbug to
report bug.

Pretty please. This is the bug tracking system. Not a free user
support line.
I see you are experiencing problem but with your information, this will
not yield in any meaningful bug fix. Once you isolate issues
down-to-reproducible shape, please report it as bug.
