Severity: wishlist

Hi,

upstream getmail4 4.46.0 adds extended SSL options for the POP3
retriever, allowing users to configure the kind of strict server
certificate checking that is needed to protect against active network
attackers (MitM + sslsniff). It would be great to see this in Debian.

Thanks in advance, and thank you for maintaining getmail4 in Debian!

Cheers,
