Hi,

Running lintian's test suite I got hit by the following bug:
> make[1]: *** read jobs pipe: No such file or directory

I took a look at jobs.c but didn't find anything obvious. The jobs_rfd < 0
check, given the global scope of the variable, looks worrisome though.

In the same testsuite run I got hit twice, so I guess there's not-so-difficult
some way to reproduce it.

Cheers,

Hi,

lintian was not one of the packages flagged as breaking in the
archive rebuild, and I just built lintian twice with the new make. I
can't reproduce the error. I think it si fixed, if not, please feel
free to reopen with logs, and hopefully a simple way to reproduce the
 issue (well, if possible).

        thanks,

        manoj
