I don't have an efi-based machine but BIOS. I tried to install
syslinux-stuff package and wasn't able to install. I got the following
error while trying to install it :-

It seems something in the post-install script triggered it although no
idea what. I thought I should tag it as important as you plan to put
it in sid/unstable next week.
