Yes sure. I knew it. That is why I chose : as an example. I am not
putting all alternative command forms. As you did, I let people read
the bash/dash man pages by doing this :-)

dash manpage state as,
:
true A null command that returns a 0 (true) exit value.
So I do not want to repeat.
Thanks for kind reminder but I would rather not to make my documents
longer.
This has educational effect too. In some context, we need a null
command. This will let you lern there is buildin command for true.
