Dear Maintainer,

   * What led up to the situation?
New hardware with Asrock FM2A88X+ motherboard & Kaveri A10-7850K APU.
Can't get sound on HDMI and analogue out at the same time.
Iceweasel gives sound only on analogue out. After switching off
sound chip in Kaveri, I can select sound device in VLC player,
and switch between audio over HDMI and analogue out,
but can't get sound on both at the same time.

  * What exactly did you do (or not do) that was effective (or
     ineffective)?
Switched off Kaveri True Audio in BIOS - now I have sound on analogue out and
I can get sound in vlc player at HDMI xor analogue out.
Other enable/disbale variations in BIOS didn't help.

Reinstalled+reconfigured alsa - no change. Reconnected headphone + HDMI cable.
Tried different kernels - no change.
Tried to install Realtek generic driver from source, but make install failed.

I'm sorry but I'm closing this bug report as the BTS is no user support forum,
please try http://lists.debian.org/debian-user/ instead.

cheers,
