Seen with songwrite, startupmanager, utf8-migration-tool, trying to build using
dh_python2. If you set DEB_PYTHON_SYSTEM to python2 it says python2 is the
default and you should remove this line, if you remove it, it doesn't do
anything Python related. Note the packages mentioned above are now using
debhelper to work around this.

DEB_PYTHON_SYSTEM variable should be unset when using python2/python3.
Sorry to learn that this was not obvious from current CDBS code.
Suggestions on improves wording in class/python-vars.mk is appreciated.
Closing as this is not a bug. Please do reply if you feel this is wrong
treatment of the bug, but please leave it to CDBS maintainers to decide
if the bug should be reopened.
