Package: nautilus
Version: 3.4.2-1+build1
Severity: important

Dear Maintainer,

   * What led up to the situation?

Whenever i rename a folder while using the "compact" view; nautilus
crashes and also the desktop icons go missing and nautilus cannot recover
afterwards.
This does not happen when i'm using the "list" or "icon" views.

Below is the output from "dmesg"
     [ 795.946671] nautilus: sending ioctl 2285 to a partition!
     [ 795.946809] nautilus: sending ioctl 2285 to a partition!
     [ 795.946936] nautilus: sending ioctl 2285 to a partition!
     [10081.966933] nautilus[4406]: segfault at 40 ip 000000000043b7fe sp
00007fffe27f0850 error 4 in nautilus[400000+165000]

   * What exactly did you do (or not do) that was effective (or
     ineffective)?

After the crash and dektop is no longer usable, I accessed the "Advanced
Settings" and turned all of the "Desktop" options off then on again but this
was of no use.
I have to restart the operating system to recover from the crash

   * What was the outcome of this action?

nautilus crashes and the desktop icons dissappear.

   * What outcome did you expect instead?

    recovery from the crash :)
