Package: ftp.debian.org
Severity: normal
Dear FTP masters,
python-librabbitmq is buggy (see: #747270), not maintained upstream anymore,
and is replaced by python-amqp. We made sure that there is no reverse
dependency remaining, and that all of them moved to use python-amqp, which
is currently the case (the last one was python-kombu, which has migrated
to testing).
As a consequence, please remove python-librabbitmq from both Sid and Jessie.
Note that, as per https://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=747270#39
(end of that message), it's looking like the current maintainer for
python-librabbitmq isn't responsive, and since the package is team maintained,
it is probably OK to remove the package without waiting for a reply from
[email protected] (who is anyway hereby CC-ed). If you want to stay
on the safe side, then maybe wait for 7 more days, to give Michael enough time
to reply, before removing the package.
Cheers,
Thomas Goirand (zigo)

As per Michael's reply, I'm canceling the RM request for python-librabbitmq.
I wish you all the best, Michael, for your wedding and all! :)
