Package: daemontools-run
Version: 1:0.76-3
Severity: wishlist
As svscan which is used by daemontools daemon is able to
automatically locate and run the logging process
for a daemon, if the "./log/run" script is present,
`update-service --remove SVCDIR` should follow this pattern
and try to perform
`svc -dx SVCDIR/log` after removing the daemon
if the test `test -x SVCDIR/log/run` returns true.
The ground for this idea is to fix the disparity:
`update-serice --add` registers the service
and starts it *and* its logging process, if the daemontools
supervisor is running, but `update-service --remove`
stops and unregisters the service but does not
touch its logging process.
