Hi,
I use kdiff3 very rarely as a default git-mergetool. Recently I've got
hit by bug #703174 (`kdiff3 broken when doing a merge'), but have found a
work-around, which is to turn off the `Settings->Configure kdiff3...->
Directory->Backup files (.orig)' option. However kdiff3 fails to store
the setting, and I need to turn the option off every time kdiff3 is started.
