Severity: grave

Justification: renders package unusable
I use an Epson CX11NF AccuLaser printer which has an incorporate scanner. The
printer is used through the network.
The scanner is recognized but I always get I/O errors when running xsane.
Another computer, Mac Os X 10.8, has no
problem, using the Epson scanner utility.
dh@listryx:>scanimage -L
device `epson2:net:192.168.0.9' is a Epson LP-A500 flatbed scanner
dh@listryx:>scanimage -T
scanimage: scanning image of size 208x292 pixels at 1 bits/pixel
scanimage: acquiring gray frame, 1 bits/sample
scanimage: reading one scanline, 26 bytes... FAIL Error: Error during device
I/O
xsane 0.996 give "Erreur pendant la lecture Erreur d'entree/sortie sur le
peripherique" which is "Error during reading Error Input/Output on the device"
