After an update to the _new_ sane my scanning scripts stop working. In
particular for my hp scanner the options "mode" and "resolution" are not
recognized any more.
Setup:
Scanner server:
scanimage --version --> scanimage (sane-backends) 1.0.18; backend version 1.0.18
==> scanimage --mode Lineart --resolution 300 ...
works nicely
Scanner client (network client):
scanimage --version --> scanimage (sane-backends) 1.0.19; backend version 1.0.19
==> scanimage --mode Lineart --resolution 300 ...
works not at all, nevertheless I can scan with default options...
