Vala is a C# like language for the GObject system. It is used by GNOME and elementary OS developers. A syntax file is available here, and I would like for it to be included in the vim Debian package.

The maintainer(s) of the syntax file should work with Bram to get it
included upstream. We don't include extra runtime files in Debian's Vim
packaging.

Alternatively, get it shipped along with the vala packaging or as a
standalone package.
