Hi,

by default, e17 would not show an icon for e.g. midori, because the
iconds are in
/usr/share/icons/hicolor/*/apps/midori.png

Setting the Icon theme to Gnome fixes this. It would be nice if this
would work out of the box, i.e. if no icon theme is configured, or the
icon theme does not contain an icon for this app, another existing icon
is chosen.

It could be compared how KDE behaves when it’s menu contains midori (or
pidgin, or others).

Greetings,
Joachim
