Hi Isabelle,

This isn't really a bug in easytag, but rather an annoying thing about
how the default file manager is selected. Easytag declares that it
supports the 'inode/directory' mime type in its desktop file, because it
can in fact open directories. But since this is the same type as used by
file managers, easytag might end up getting picked as the default file
manager.

Here are some bug reports I found which relate to this (and other
programs, not just easytag). Clearly people have differing opinions
about it.

https://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=694358
http://redmine.audacious-media-player.org/issues/102
https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1074145
https://code.google.com/p/rawtherapee/issues/detail?id=1398

On MATE, as a workaround:
 Press Alt-F2
 Run mate-default-applications-properties
Go to System -> File Manager and change it back to Caja

Closing the bug since it's not an easytag issue.

Thanks,
James
