Dear Maintainer,
I need to install wordpress, but the version on debian stable is too old for my
need.
I was thinking about using the debian package from unstable (that I see is
updated to latest wordpress, thanks!), but I'd like to know if you plan to
upload security updates to unstable/experimental during the freeze, because if
not I'm not sure i can use those packages until the new debian release comes
out.
I know it's a weird question, but it will make a huge difference for me when
choosing how to install wordpress :-)

During the freeze it depends. If it is a security related bug that is
bad enough to upset the freeze and depending where they are at the
freeze it should go in to unstable.
Experimental is a different creature as its never frozen so a change can
happen anytime.
The freeze is a strange spot to be in, because before the freeze
unstable just gets updated and after the freeze then stable (the old
unstable) gets its security updates.
