Hi,
the current default of using the same documentation IP as
the default router at least gets bird4/6 (6 especially,
because it needs a manually configured id!) at least
running, which is good.
But really, a useful install needs a unique router id,
which needs to be set manually. So what about putting an
'include "routerid.conf";' in bird.conf/bird6.conf and
letting debconf ask for the router id and put it in
routerid.conf?
