We're seeing some relocation failures on powerpc. For example:

I tracked this down and sent an RTS patch upstream as
https://ghc.haskell.org/trac/ghc/ticket/10402. It hasn't been applied
yet, but I at least got a "looks plausible". Can we go ahead and apply
this to the Debian packaging?
