Package: icedove
Version: 24.0-1
Severity: normal

I fresh icedove installation doesn't know how to open http links in
emails. Instead, it requires me to use a file system dialog to dig my
way down to /usr/bin/something, which is very unfriendly and slow.
Given that Debian has a standard for this (x-www-browser), this could
be configured by default.

I have installed various new systems in the past (Wheezy and now also
Jessie) with Gnome as DE and all these installations opened included
URLs correctly with the associated browser.

Over many versions the default setting for the x-www-browser didn't
change, it's set up in /etc/icedove/icedove.js.
