One of the build steps consists of compiling .target, .mhclo and .obj files into more efficient and smaller binary formats. After this compilation, the source files are no longer needed and can be removed. Removing these files results in considerable size reduction: the installation size (/usr/share/makehuman folder) goes from 316MB to 170MB after removing the redundant files.
