Package: roundcube
Version: 0.3.1-3
Severity: normal

Hi there!

The 'roundcube' package ships three configuration files which are
deleted in postinst:

  /etc/logrotate.d/roundcube
  /etc/cron.daily/roundcube
  /etc/default/roundcube

The content of the three files above is very similar, except for the
file name, e.g.:

--8<---------------cut here---------------start------------->8---
# This file conflicts with /etc/default/roundcube-core. If you have
# modified it, report your modifications to
# /etc/default/roundcube-core. If this file is left empty or
# untouched, it will be deleted.

# If you leave the following marker, this file will be deleted during
# the next upgrade:
# 75321 DELETE 75321
--8<---------------cut here---------------end--------------->8---

This is not how conffile should be managed, given that these files are
still shown by dpkg as conffile for roundcube, while they should be (at
least) marked as obsolete. A side effect is that reportbug wants to
include them when reporting a bug for the 'roundcube' package.

Please read how to properly move a conffile in the Debian wiki
<http://wiki.debian.org/DpkgConffileHandling>, better do that with
dpkg-maintscript-helper (included in dpkg >= 1.15.7.2).

Thx, bye,
Gismo / Luca

Hi!

This issue doesn't exist any more since some time (at least
0.9.x). roundcube package doesn't ship any configuration file
anymore. Therefore, closing.
