Package: texmacs
Version: 1:1.0.6.6-1
Severity: normal
On Debian Etch system, I installed texmacs from experimental archive.
$texmacs --version
TeXmacs version 1.0.6.6
(c) 1999-2003 by Joris van der Hoeven
I can reproduce the crash consistently by doing the following.
rm -rf ~/.TeXmacs (1)
texmacs texmacs_crashes_with_mouse.tm (file attached in this mail)
In the window of texmacs_crashes_with_mouse.tm I do
Document -> Page -> Type -> Paper (2)
At this point the cursor is at the top of the document. Now if I scroll down
the document with mouse, texmacs crashes with an error message
Segmentation fault (core dumped)
If I scroll the document with keyboard then there is no crash. The crash also
does not occur with the current version in testing 1:1.0.6-10. It occurs only
with the experimental version 1:1.0.6.6-1.
Steps (1), (2) are optional and the crash can be reproduced even without it.
Initially I posted the problem at
http://lists.texmacs.org/wws/arc/texmacs-users/2006-10/msg00032.html and someone
there was able to reproduce this bug...
