Hello.
While building rus-ispell-0.99g0 I have a warning:
dpkg-gencontrol: warning: unknown substitution variable ${misc:Depends}
and packages builded with no depencies debconf (>= 0.5) | debconf-2.0
This happens due to strange behaviour of dh_installdebconf.
In order to include the depencies we must need create empty? files
debian/aspell-ru.config
debian/irussian.config
debian/myspell.config
debian/substvars is not working any more.

That's OK. It just means that no debhelper module uses the substitution.

We already have this dependency, which accomplishes the same thing:
Depends: ispell, dictionaries-common (>=3D 0.49.2), debconf | debconf-2.0

Btw, Aspell and Myspell don't need Debconf, because they use environment
variables to determine the default dictionary language.

That is possible. Anyhow, if that is the case, the bug would bug against
debhelper, not against rus-ispell, therefore I'm closing this bug.=20
I would still suggest opening a bug against debhelper, referring to this
report, to notify Joey of the broken ${misc:Depends} substitution.
