I just noticed that with uhd 3.9.0 libuhd003 lost the v5 suffix that had
been introduced with 3.8.5-2.1.

And the changelog has no explanation for this. So to avoid problems
when upgrading from jessie to stretch, this should be fixed again...

Thank you!

Closing this via email as solution involved three separate package
updates:

1: Using Breaks in uhd package, listing packages currently in the
Debian archive which would break due to ABI changes.
uhd 3.9.1-2

2: Tighten libuhd003 dependencies in gnuradio using
override_dh_makeshlibs:
        dh_makeshlibs --no-package=gnuradio --no-package=libgnuradio-uhd3.7.8
        dh_makeshlibs --package=gnuradio --package=libgnuradio-uhd3.7.8 -V
'libuhd003 (>= 3.9)'
gnuradio 3.7.8-4

3: Tighten libuhd003 dependencies in gr-osmosdr as well.
gr-osmosdr 0.2.4-4

Thanks for advice in bug reports,
-Maitland
