Subject: Can't set persistent connections for MySQL/PHP3
Message-ID: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>
MIME-Version: 1.0
Content-Type: TEXT/PLAIN; charset=US-ASCII

Package: php3
Version: 3.0.5-3

Package: mysql-server
Versoin: 3.21.33b-2

The rest of my system is a stock slink distribution.

I'm having a problem with persistent connections. In
/etc/php3/apache/php3.ini, I have the following lines:

[MySQL]
mysql.allow_persistent  =       On ;
mysql.max_persistent    =       10 ;
mysql.max_links         =       10 ;

I save the file, restart apache but a call to phpinfo() shows :

Allow persistent links:                       Yes
Persistent links:                             0/Unlimited
Total links:                                  0/Unlimited

Obviously, I'm looking for 10 connections where it says unlimited.

Vic

Dear reporter,

php3 has been removed from Debian unstable/testing, because it's superseded
by php4 and php5. Please see #330656 for more information.

This bug does not apply to php4 or php5, so I'm closing it now.

Thank you for your report,
--Jeroen
