Package: amule
Version: 2.2.6+debian0-8
Severity: normal
I have my amule set as a startup program -- added through the Gnome's Startup
Programs functionality. After I log in amule is started, but its tray icon
lands in the upper left corner of the desktop (right under the menu's Debian
swirl) instead of the tray. When I start amule manually it places itself on the
tray as desired. Of course I set this behaviour in amule's preferences so I'd
expect it to work no matter how it's started. I don't think this is connected
with Gnome since other startup programs are started in the tray as expected.
Nonetheless I haven't tested it with KDE or any other WM.
One more thing: I had this problem earlier under Squeeze as well but I kept
ignoring it. I thought it's high time I reported it.

It looks like this bugreport is no longer relevant. I checked it both
in default gnome-shell mode, in gnome classic mode and also in
flashback mode and it doesn't seem reproducible anymore. The tray icon
works the way it should in the latest release. Therefore I move to
close this bug.

KTB
