I accidentally ran “git-import-dscs --debsnap doscan” in a directory
which already contained a non-empty subdirectory “doscan” with a Git
repository and local changes. This resulted in rather strange error
messages. I think it would better to error out in this case.

Avoid this by checking if the directory exists and aborting in this
