This machine is not really terribly quick, and dpkg-query takes a few seconds to run each time. Rather than calling it fifteen times for each of fifteen different configuration files, perhaps you could save the output of "dpkg-query -W -f='${Conffiles}' blosxom" in a shell variable, and then just repeatedly run sed over that shell variable? That should be a lot faster. (Yes, I know that the rm_conffile function is just the usual one that people copy around from package to package.
