Each day I get the following error message from cron :

/etc/cron.daily/logrotate:
invoke-rc.d: action rotate is unknown, but proceeding anyway.

My /usr/bin/policy-rc.d does indeed treat the rotate action. However it is not
documeted in the man page.

It seems there is a mismatch between logrotate and invoke-rc.d about this
action.

Running this in Debian unstable, I get:
# invoke-rc.d rsyslog rotate
[ ok ] Closing open files: rsyslogd.

So I consider this issue fixed.

Michael
