The backslash key prints a '<' character in the edit box of a text
in the xfig version as shipped.

Solution: Enable the line NO_COMPKEYDB in the Imakefile and recompile.

So this issue seems to be solved with the state of 2006-07-30, which
should be sarge, which contains version 1:3.2.5-alpha5-3.

I close this bug report accordingly.
