Package: lava-dispatcher
Version: 2016.2-1
Severity: normal
Dear Maintainer,
there is misconfiguration during installation when system has more than one
inet NIC.
The problem is that LAVA_SERVER_IP variable in generated
/etc/lava-dispatcher/lava-dispatcher.conf gets extra new line with other
argument, e.g.:
LAVA_SERVER_IP = 169.254.3.106
192.168.2.100
You can test it with adding multiple IP addresses on one interface
(https://wiki.debian.org/NetworkConfiguration#Legacy_method). Or even avahi is
a problem.
I'm going to add a patch for this bug.
Kind regards,
Petr

thanks
No misconfiguration exists, instead it is a misunderstanding of how the
deprecated dispatcher configuration is to be used. If there is any
issue with multiple NICs, the configuration file already points at
using the LAVA_NETWORK_IFACE override to replace the hard-coded
LAVA_SERVER_IP such that whichever interface has a suitable route is
selected.
