Dear Maintainer,
Wheel currently uses keyring.backends.file.BaseKeyring explicitly, which was
removed in python-keyring ≥ 8.0 (which I am going to upload to archive shortly,
thus severity: important).
This was fixed upstream in pull request 61, and the fix is available in
≥ 0.27.0 upstream releases.
If you want to cherry-pick the patch instead of updating to the new upstream
version, then you need to cherry-pick commit e144e1f7663f88b6.
If you want to run tests for signing wheels (during build time or in the
autopkgtests), consider adding python[3]-keyrings.alt to Build-Depends or
test dependencies.
