Hey.

I played around at some test system with usrmerge. Nice :)

But one thing, wouldn't it be better not to do the migration
directly at installation time?
Especially since there is not undo... if someone accidentally
installs it (perhaps by aptitude install <some bad tab completion>)
they'd be screwed.

And if other packages would want to check whether the usrmerge
had happened, something else could be used (e.g. whether
/bin is a symlink?)

Just an idea :-)
