There seems to be a typo (additional double-quote) in the GitHub example
in /usr/share/debhelper/dh_make/debian/watch.ex:
#opts="filenamemangle="..."
should be:
#opts="filenamemangle=..."
Note that uscan's manual page has the right version of this line.
