As the subject says, upstream development hasn't stalled, its around version
0.9.0
and recent changes in git[1] as of just 3 days ago.
Yet the Debian version is *ancient*. Why? Lack of "formal" releases? With the
huge
time since the last "formal" release they made, IMO its way overdue to just
switch
to git versions.
