Hi,
for using with additional software like an reaction to logentries with a
insert of a drop it whould be fine to have a way to configure a
independend chain which will not be cleaned up when it is empty.
Also for this purpuose it whould be nice to insert references to that
chain in a very early point of the INPUT chain (like pos. 2). But this
can also be done by the software. (At the moment I insert a dummy rule
in that chain to prevent the cleanup. But this is not very elegant.)
