Package: doc-linux-text
Version: 2001.09-1
Severity: normal

There is a typo in Linux+Windows-HOWTO.gz in the following section:

 1. Download fips-2.0 and expand in the directory $FIPSROOT
(This may require privelege depending on Tom's linux configuration)
(The address will probably change by the time you read this.)
    bash> FIPSROOT=/opt/packages/fips-2.0
    bash> mkdir -p $FIPSROOT/original
    bash> cd $FIPSROOT/original
    bash> wget 'ftp://sunsite.icm.edu.pl/pub/Linux/sunsite.unc.edu/system/
    installl/fips-2.0.zip'
    bash> cd $PIPSROOT
    bash> unzip -d oritinal/fips-2.0.zip

"installl" has 3 l's. It should only have 2. Otherwise, it is
impossible to reach the ftp directory. I am labeling this as a normal
bug rather than a minor bug because this typo is needed to find the
correct ftp directory.

doc-linux was last released with Debian 6.0 (squeeze) in
February 2011 and removed from Debian sid/unstable in 2012 (see
http://bugs.debian.org/668078 for details on the removal). Since
support for squeeze and squeeze-LTS has now ended, I'm closing all the
remaining bugs reported against this package.
